Obtaining Convocation tickets

Ticket Orders:

As a graduating student, you do not need to order a ticket for yourself to attend Convocation, but you do need to reserve complimentary tickets for your guests. Ticket ordering will be available online March 9, 2017.

Ticket allocation is as follows:

  • Faculty of Theology and Faculty of Arts on Sunday, May 14, 2017 at 3 pm: 3 tickets*
  • Faculty of Pure and Applied Science on Monday, May 15, 2017 at 10 am: 2 tickets*
  • Faculty of Professional Studies on Monday, May 15, 2017 at 2:30 pm: 2 tickets*

For additional information and to check on ticket availability, please contact convocation@acadiau.ca.

Seating is limited in Convocation Hall; however, every attempt will be made to meet your request for tickets. Please note that Acadia also offers additional seating at the Auditorium at the K.C. Irving Environmental Science Centre to watch the ceremonies (no tickets required for this space), and provides a live-stream video webcast of each Convocation ceremony.

Picking Up Your Tickets

If you applied through the convocation online application before March 31, your allocation of two or three guest tickets (depending on your ceremony) are available for printing or downloading to your smart phone at any time.  http://convocation.acadiau.ca/Graduates/request-convocation-tickets.html

If you ordered tickets after March 31st or requested additional guest tickets, your tickets will be located with your academic attire in the Hall of Fame Room in the arena complex two hours before your ceremony, or on Sunday morning if you had indicated your attendance at the Baccalaureate Service.

Tickets ordered through the President's Office are available in UNH 214 starting Friday, May 12, 2017.  On Sunday, May 14, and Monday, May 15, tickets may be picked up in UNH 215.
