Ticket Orders

The e-ticket system is now live! You can book your tickets through the Box Office website: acadiau.universitytickets.com. Tickets must be booked by the student that is graduating and need to be booked using their Acadia email address.

Please note, graduating students do not themselves require a ticket to their convocation, but guests (family and friends) do.

Due to limited seating in Convocation Hall, you can initially order a maximum of two (2) tickets. Please ensure you select the correct ceremony when booking your tickets:

• May 14, 2023, at 3 p.m.
  Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Theology, and the School of Education

• May 15, 2023, at 10 a.m.
  Faculty of Pure and Applied Science

• May 15, 2023, at 2:30 p.m.
  Faculty of Professional Studies (School of Kinesiology, Community Development, School of Music, Business Administration)

There are two (2) more ticket release dates coming up, and will also be announced by email:

• March 27, 2023 - an additional four (4) tickets will be available for each graduating student to book
• April 10, 2023 - an additional four (4) tickets will be available for each graduating students to book

Additional tickets will be available on a first come first served basis. Should you wish to book more than ten (10) tickets, please send a special request to convocation@acadiau.ca. Any ticket orders received after April 10 will be processed based on remaining tickets.

There will be an alternate viewing location on campus where the ceremonies are being streamed live. Guests can view the ceremony in the K. C. Irving Environmental Science Centre Auditorium and meet their graduate for the reception in Fountain Learning Commons following the ceremony. Tickets are not required for this location.

A live stream will also be available to view online in real-time, and the ceremony will be uploaded to the convocation website after convocation takes place.

Academic Attire

Every graduand wears a traditional academic mortarboard cap, gown, hood, and tassel. The rental price is $52.00 plus tax. Online ordering is available now at www.gradco.ca/2023-acadia. The deadline to place your order is April 23, 2023, at 11:59 p.m. AST. Gowns and hoods must be returned at the end of your graduation ceremony to the Athletics Complex.
