Ticket Orders

Ticket sales opened on March 21st with an offer to purchase two (2) tickets to convocation. You can now add up to four (4) additional tickets to your booking through the Box Office website: acadiau.universitytickets.com

Tickets must be booked by the student that is graduating and completed using their Acadia email address. Please note, graduating students do not themselves require a ticket to their convocation, but guests (family and friends) do.

Don't forget to forward your e-tickets to your guests!

Due to limited seating in Convocation Hall, Ticket Release #2 will allow you to reserve up to six (6) tickets in total. Please ensure you select the correct ceremony when booking your tickets:

• Thursday, May 16, 2024, at 10 a.m.
  Faculty of Arts and Faculty of Theology

• Thursday, May 16, 2024, at 2:30 p.m.
  Faculty of Pure and Applied Science

• Friday, May 17, 2024, at 10 a.m.
  Faculty of Professional Studies (Fred C. Manning School of Business, Department of Community Development, School of Education, School of Kinesiology, School of Music)

If you need more than six (6) tickets in total, a final ticket release (Release #3) will go live on Thursday, April 18, and will allow you to reserve an additional four (4) tickets for a total of up to ten (10) tickets. Additional tickets will be available on a first come first served basis. If you require more than ten (10) tickets total, you can make a special request by emailing convocation@acadiau.ca. Any ticket orders received after April 18 will be processed based on remaining tickets.

A live stream will also be available to view online in real-time, and the ceremony will be uploaded to the convocation website after convocation takes place.

Academic Attire

Every graduand wears a traditional academic mortarboard cap, gown, hood, and tassel. The rental price is $52.00 plus tax. Online ordering is available now at www.gradco.ca/2024-acadia. The deadline to place your order is April 22, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. AST. Gowns and hoods must be returned at the end of your graduation ceremony to the Athletics Complex.
