We’re one short month away from convocation! Are you ready? Here’s a quick checklist to make sure you’re prepped for the big day. 

✅ Order your regalia  

The deadline to order regalia (a fancy name for the gown and cap) is Monday, April 21 at midnight. Place your order on the gradco website. 

✅ Snag tickets for grad class events 

The ceremony itself is only part of the fun! Get your tickets for the grad banquet and celebrate in style! Tickets are $50, and you can book as many as you want—bring your family, friends, and biggest supporters. 

Parent’s Night at The Axe on May 15 is sold out, but there are still limited tickets left for May 14! Grab them before they’re gone. 

✅ Reserve guest tickets 

If you want to have folks watch you walk across the stage, make sure you’ve booked their guest tickets. Tickets are booked for each ceremony on a first-come-first-served basis through the Acadia box office until April 20. 

Need additional tickets? Fill out the additional ticket request form; requests will be filled based on remaining availability after the April 20 deadline for orders. 

And don’t worry—if there isn’t space for all your guests in University Hall, there will be a live stream of the ceremonies in person and online in real-time. And afterwards, the ceremony will be uploaded to the convocation website. 

✅ Book guest accommodations 

Your lease might not be up until the end of May, but what about the friends and family who came to town to celebrate you? They can get affordable and convenient accommodations right on campus in Acadia’s residence buildings!

If you or your guests have any accessibility requirements, please email convocation@acadiau.ca and we will be happy to accommodate. 

✅ Check the convocation site regularly 

The convocation page is the best place to get the latest updates. Check it regularly leading up to the big day!
